University is Just Clad Deception! Be a Dropout!

Yes, I said it! Attending a higher Institution is in no way a  guarantee for living/having a purposeful driven life. You toil all night to finish assignments that in no way give you the basic toughness/
ruggedness/education needed to conquer the real world, spend 4-5 years pursing a career in something you naturally have no ability in only come out looking for a 'collar job' in already established industries where marginalization is all you'll get at the end of the day. You want to really be an empire, get educated basically in what your biggest interest is like most of the world's school dropouts did. Formal schooling may not always fuel you to push those burning dreams to limelight. Below is a list of some of the world's most famous dropouts and their net worth...

1. WALT DISNEY
Net Worth - $5 billion. Dropped out at age 16 and founded the Walt |Disney Company. He's considered the most prolific animator of all time.

2. HENRY FORD
Net Worth - $199. Dropped out at the age of 16 and later founded Ford Motor Company in 1903.

3. BILL GATES
Net Worth - $78.8 billion. It's no news that Gates is the richest man in the world. He dropped out of Harvard in 1975, just two years after enrolling into it. He founded Microsoft with his childhood buddy Paul Allen and got an honorary degree from Harvard in 2007.

4. ARMANCIO TEGA
Net Worth - $66.2 billion. Ortega is the richest guy in the whole of Spain. He dropped out at 19, founded his own company at the age of 27 and in 1975, he opened his first retail store, Zara.

5. STEVE JOBS
Net Worth - $8.3 billion. He dropped out at 23. Jobs, founder of  Apple, he's seen as the Ford and Edison of our time and made a living recycling cans and tins.

6. MARK ZUCKERBERG
Net Worth - $33.7 billion. Dropped out at 19. Everyone knows who mark is, right? He's the founder of Facebook and his site has the second largest traffic ever!

7. LARRY PAGE
Net Worth - $29.2 billion. He dropped out at 21. He launched Google together with his friend Sergey Brin in 1998.

I could just go on and on and on. Now i'm not saying schooling is entirely bad because let's face facts, there are more academic certificate job employers than employers looking for what one can actually do. You get to make the pick- a job creator, or a job applicant? Choice is yours.

  1. Interesting write up...at a point i felt i had wasted 4 years of my life...buh the interesting thing to note here is that school gives you the foundation to succeed in life...expect you have the unwavery guts you might not make it without the basic foundation. Imagine where Ben Carson would have been...or the Harvard graduates....

Good write up though. ..got me thinking. Cheers

  2. Thanks for writing Joseph. It does but the problem has always been people going to school without no clear cut reason. They just do cause others do. Basically, i think no one has a reason studying something that has nothing to do with their dreams.

  3. Cool points Nancy...

Please, please use an updated data about some of the figures of the billionaires you mentioned like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg. And above all, Steve Jobs is late (guess there shouldn't be any need adding him to the list.
