Nancy Reagan is Dead!

     Former first lady of the United States of America, died this Morning of Congestive Heart Failure at her home in Los Angeles. She's aged 94. Her husband, Ronald Reagan, a one time President of USA also died at the age of 94 after a period of long illness. She was in office from January 20, 1981-January 20, 1989.
     Before starting her
political career, Nancy Regan (then Davis) had embarked on an acting career which began with small supporting roles in 1949 in the movies, The Doctor and The Girl with Glenn Ford and East Side, West Side. During her husband's two terms as governor, she was first lady of California from 1967-1975. 
         

     In 1982, she launched a very powerful awareness campaign against drugs titled 'Just Say No' her which was her major project as first lady of the state. A woman of many abilities, she became her husband's protector after an attempted assassination attempt on him was made towards him. Joanne Drake, spokeswoman for Reagan has announced that she will be buried alongside the grave of her husband who died in 2004 at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
