But years later, Richard 55, now Tiamat preferes to be referred to as 'it' because he/she (i don't even know the proper one to use anymore) has undergone an extreme surgery that involved 'it' cutting out both of it's ears in a procedure known as the Double Van Gogh. To better it's dragon look, Tiamat took inspiration from JK Rowling's Voldemort character by reshaping it's nose to compliment its reptilian features. Tiamat's body is covered in scales made up of tattoos, forehead horn implants and green eye staining.

Tiamat who has over the years spent an estimation of $45,000 and hopes to spend more in future says it is morphing into what it calls its own true form as a once-mythical dragon. Tiamat currently is 95% covered in snake scale outline and it says that these modification have aesthetic appeal, sexual pleasure, the shock value, personal gratification and spiritual significance.
